December Updates for Cross Christian Academy Families
Happy December, Cross Christian Academy families! We have some exciting events lined up this month, and we want to make sure you have all the details you need. Get ready for festive fun, sports games, and special activities as we head into the holiday season!
Dates to Remember
December 2nd: Caroling in the Park
Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Park by City Hall (for ages 7-10)
Bring your holiday cheer and join us for Caroling in the Park! Students aged 7-10 will sing their hearts out in the park near City Hall. Plus, if you attend, your grade will earn points in the Clash competition!
December 7th: Seaford Community Christmas Parade
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: Meet at West Seaford Elementary at 6:30 PM
We are thrilled to be a part of the Seaford Community Christmas Parade! Our sports teams will be representing the school, and we encourage everyone to come out in support. The parade kicks off at the corner of Nylon Blvd and Pennsylvania Ave, ending at Market Street by Seaford Middle School. Don’t miss this chance to show school spirit!
December 16th: Santa Comes to Town
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Cross Christian Academy
Santa is coming, and he’s bringing his workshop! We’ll have a bake sale, vendors, and a selection of last-minute holiday gifts available for purchase. This event is free and open to the whole community—bring your friends and family for a magical evening! Santa will be there for photos, so don’t forget your wish lists.
Bakesale donations are welcome (cookies, brownies, cake pops—please wrap them individually). If you pre-paid for your child to shop, they’ll be able to visit Santa’s workshop during the school day. Here’s the schedule:
- December 17th: Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade @ 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM
- December 18th: 2nd-4th Grades @ 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM
- December 19th: 5th-6th Grades @ 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM
- High School: Students will shop during their free time.
High school students and any parents who donate baked goods will earn points in the Clash competition as well!
Holiday Break
There will be NO SCHOOL on December 13th, and from December 23rd through January 3rd. Classes resume on January 6th. Enjoy your holiday break!
Hot Lunch Program
December 11th: Walking Tacos!
Mrs. Bailey will be cooking up her famous walking tacos, available for just $3. Don’t miss out on this delicious hot lunch option for your child!
Pizza Days
Pizza orders are due by December 5th and December 19th. Pizzas will be delivered on Fridays, but remember: if orders aren’t placed and paid for by Thursday, your child won’t receive pizza. Let’s get those orders in on time!
Sports Updates
Our boys and girls JV basketball teams faced tough opponents on November 26th, but we are so proud of their growth and perseverance. Here’s what’s coming up next:
December 10th: Home Game vs. Greenwood
- Boys: 4:00 PM
- Girls: 5:00 PM
Come support our teams on home court!
December 17th: Away Game at Milford Christian
- Boys: 4:00 PM
- Girls: 5:00 PM
Join us in Milford to cheer on our players!

- All practices run from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
